Lake Oswego’s Martha Schrader to run for reelection on Clackamas County commission

Lake Oswego resident Martha Schrader, who has served on the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners for most of the last two decades, seeks her fifth term on the elected body.

Schrader said she is running again because she has some unfinished business. She wants to help move forward a recovery center for people experiencing addiction in Clackamas County, provide more broadband service to rural areas, address the lack of child care centers in the county, potentially increase the capacity of drug courts and provide rehabilitation — among other reforms related to Measure 110 — and see the new Clackamas County courthouse completed. She also hopes to work on business retention, expansion and recruitment through the county’s economic development team.
